MeMee is an educator living in Charlotte, NC. She has been tutoring in various subject areas for over a decade and virtually for the past three years. She currently tutors math, literacy, and executive functioning and excels in both small group and 1:1 tutoring sessions. She believes in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. She tailors her teaching methods to suit each student's unique learning style and preferences, ensuring that they grasp the concepts effectively and encouraging active participation providing practical examples to help students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

Before tutoring, MeMee was a high school teacher and instructional coach, teaching high school Algebra 1, Career and technical education, and a variety of AP courses before transitioning to literacy, specifically for multilingual learners. 

In her free time, she enjoys all things coffee, traveling, reading and spending time her three fur babies.
